We have a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician III position open. Working Sun. - Thur. 10pm - 6am.

JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:

The Level 3 Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, installation, equipment repairs, continuous improvement and preventative / daily maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Promotes job safety, and is an active participant in the development of plant safety goals, policies and procedures
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
  • Inspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rolls
  • Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
  • Check and review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basis
  • Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices
  • Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including research to determine parts required
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Respond to all breakdowns quickly and perform repairs correctly while performing quality work
  • Develop process capability changes to improve quality, reduce scrap and increase productivity
  • Perform basic electrical preventative maintenance checks
  • Operate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely
  • Participate in cross-functional project groups

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Knowledge: Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

Experience/Skills/Abilities and/or Training: 4-6 years related experience and/or training to include:
