| Job Description OVERVIEW:  This position provides electrical, controls, instrumentation, and basic mechanical support for food processing equipment at the JFB Technical Center in Golden Valley, MN. This person works effectively and collaboratively across teams to meet human safety, food safety, and equipment reliability expectations. Work will consist of corrective and preventative maintenance while providing electrical troubleshooting support for R&D tests and production runs. This role will work 1st shift (6am - 2pm) with occasional overtime support during the week and on weekends. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 Troubleshoot, repair, and improve process electrical equipment across the pilot plant and lab spacesTroubleshoot and repair motor control circuits, including Variable Frequency Drives and Servo motor controlsTroubleshoot and calibrate process control instrumentation, including but not limited to pressure, flow, temperature, humidity, torque, current, and voltage elements and transmittersTroubleshoot and program Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic ControllersPerform electrical preventative and predictive maintenance proceduresPerform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipmentComply with all OSHA-required electrical safety training and practicesPerform daily safety risk assessments, equipment safety audits, and actively promote a safe work environmentCollaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of team members, including operators, managers, engineers, and R&D personnel across business units MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
 Either a two-year trade school certificate in an accredited electrical program or a minimum of two years of related work experienceMust have experience installing and maintaining process electrical componentsUnderstand, practice, and promote electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E and NECAbility to apply root cause analysis to resolve recurring electrical problemsRead and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams and schematicsAbility to manage and adjust to multiple priorities in a high-activity production environmentMust be able to lift and manipulate 55 poundsMust be able to work flexible hours as needed and work occasional overtime, including coverage on weekendsEffective communication skills with peers and with customers  PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

 The salary range for this position is $50400.00 - $69400.00 / Annually.
