Staffmark is excited to offer a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a reputable partner company in Atkins, AR. This full-time, day-shift role is ideal for a skilled individual who thrives in a hands-on environment, takes initiative, and is capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: Competitive and based on experience

Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete timely repairs
  • Conduct inspections and ensure machinery and systems meet safety standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
  • Assist with facility upkeep, including minor construction or renovation projects



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical labor, including bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
