Material Handler

Staffmark is currently hiring a Material Handler to join a hardworking and reliable team in Lowell, AR. This is a hands-on role that involves working outdoors in the yard and inside the warehouse. If you enjoy physical work, operating forklifts, and interacting with customers, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Pay: $16.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

• Load and unload materials such as fencing panels, rolls of fencing, and other large items by hand or forklift
• Work outdoors in the yard and indoors in the warehouse, depending on task needs
• Use basic computer skills to print order tickets and update inventory in the system
• Prepare and stage orders for individuals, contractors, and construction companies
• Operate forklifts to move heavy or oversized materials (training provided if needed)
• Interact directly with customers-professional appearance and good communication are a must
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Remain productive and stay on-task throughout the shift

Qualifications:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or forklift operations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory tracking
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay busy with minimal supervision
• Good customer service and communication skills
