 The Sr. IT Project Manager, Campus Technology Buildout, is responsible for leading complex technology projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations. You will provide strategic direction, facilitate collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices. Specifically, you will oversee the end-to-end deployment of IT systems and computing resources across newly constructed and expanding facilities. This role serves as a critical bridge between technology and construction, ensuring every classroom, lab, office, and student space is digitally ready on Day One. *Please note; although this role is remote, you will be spending ~50% of your time traveling to our campus locations*  What We Offer: 
     Salary: Competitive range of $100,000 - $120,000 per year. This range reflects the budgeted compensation for this role. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and location.      Lead project management functions for IT teams to deliver highly scalable and flexible solutions to support growth and diversification strategies.Lead planning and execution of multiple complex IT projects to ensure on-time delivery of productsFacilitate stakeholder communications and engagement across project lifecycleManage project budgets, timelines, risk and risk mitigationDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectivesDevelop and maintain project plans and project documentation to drive efficiencyIdentify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.Coordinates activities and deliverables across multiple teams including IT, business, and external vendor service providers.Leads efforts to continually improve project delivery processes Specific Responsibilities in This Role Include: 
     Lead and execute comprehensive planning, deployment, and integration of IT infrastructure for campus buildouts, expansions, and relocations-including networking, wireless technologies, audiovisual systems, security infrastructure, and endpoint devicesCoordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to incorporate IT needs into facility planning and align with construction timelinesManage vendor relationships across structured cabling, hardware delivery, system integration, audiovisual solutions, managed services, and smart building technology installationsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including floorplans, asset inventories, deployment schedules, and network diagramsFacilitate effective collaboration among technology partners to ensure alignment with project schedules and fulfillment of operational objectivesEnsure all systems comply with educational IT standards, ADA accessibility guidelines, and cybersecurity best practicesSupport final testing, troubleshooting, and handoff of systems to operational IT teamsApproximately 50% travelQualifications
 
 Education / Experience: 
     Bachelor's degree in information systems management, computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience with demonstrated ability (required)Minimum five (5) years' experience working as a Project Manager or in a project leadership role (required)Project Management experience within Information Technology, Software Development, or other Technical Engineering industry (preferred)Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FERPA, GLBA, DoE Blue Book, Accreditation Standards, etc.) (preferred)Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.Proven experience in IT construction and infrastructure planningHands-on expertise in large-scale computer deploymentsStrong familiarity with structured cabling, networking hardware, system integration, wireless solutions, audiovisual systems, and device imaging toolProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Skills: 
     Competent in organizing, planning, and prioritizing workInnovative, agile learner with a desire for continual process improvementsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAdept at applying disparate elements of information to understand complex problemsPerform work independently with little or no direct supervisionDemonstrates flexibility and ability to proactively seek new solutions; seek new opportunities for optimized team and platform performanceExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Teams strongly preferred Abilities:
