We are seeking a highly experienced Advisory Director - Data Program Delivery - Remote leader to spearhead multiple Data Warehouse and Cloud Data Modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for building Data Warehouse solutions and modernizing existing on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouses to the cloud. Expertise in Azure Cloud Data Stack and Snowflake is essential.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale Data Warehouse and Cloud Data Modernization programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery timelines
  • Oversee the complete SDLC process, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Data Warehouse solutions
  • Drive the modernization of on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouses to the cloud, leveraging Azure Cloud Data Stack (ADF, SHIR, Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage) and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data architects, developers, and operations, to ensure successful program delivery
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program delivery, ensuring proactive resolution of issues
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor program performance and ensure continuous improvement
  • Manage program resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to optimize delivery efficiency
  • Agile Mentorship: Mentor and guide a team of Scrum Masters, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices and methodologies for project execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years leading multiple Data Warehouse and Cloud Data Modernization initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud Data Stack (ADF, SHIR, Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage and Snowflake)
  • 5+ years of end-to-end SDLC for Data Warehouse solutions
  • Required expertise in Agile frameworks and practices, including the ability to mentor Scrum Masters
  • Proven solid leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
  • Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex program challenges
  • Ability to travel 0 - 25% when required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in program management, cloud technologies, and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in data management practices

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
