 The ideal candidate will have experience working in a start-up or private-equity owned environment with prior experience ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities. Responsibilities 
  Lead the accounting function, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsOversee all general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entriesEstablish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure complianceManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury processesSupport ERP implementation, ensuring proper integration of procurement, operations, and finance workflowsOversee preparation of management reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-makingEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and audit requirements; manage relationships with external auditors and advisorsPartner with the CFO and FP&A team to provide insight into financial performance, budgets, and long-term forecastsBuild and mentor a small accounting team, setting high standards for accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related area.10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or capital-intensive sectorsUnderstanding of US GAAPDemonstrated ability to prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and manage external audits.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (or ERP implementations), with strong Excel and analytical skills5+ years experience at an audit and accounting firm and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.Proven ability to design and enforce internal controls and financial governance in a scaling businessStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with multiple competing priorities.Relocation - Willingness to relocate within the United States within the next 1 to 2 years.
