Summary:

In this role, you will support the smooth operation of Vizient's technology infrastructure serving both internal and external customers. You will perform a broad range of activities including day-to-day administration of mobile devices, security, and unified communications environments, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365 (M365), MS Teams, Exchange Online, and associated M365 E5 technologies. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams to help maintain a highly reliable and high-performing unified communications and collaboration infrastructure. You will assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user provisioning, and will participate in ongoing projects related to technology upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance across systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across supported platforms.
  • Partner with business units to understand technology needs and provide practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, implement changes, and ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
  • Assist in creating and delivering training sessions, job aids, and communications to improve end-user experience.
  • Contribute to the design, improvement, and documentation of IT processes, standards, and Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure system documentation, diagrams, and knowledge articles are accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in change management, ensuring that updates are properly tested and communicated.
  • Work with senior engineers and architects to implement new solutions and upgrades.
  • Will be part of an on-call rotation.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to Service Desk escalations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.Advanced degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of progressive IT experience in service desk, end-user support, telecommunications, and networking required.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) and MS Teams in a distributed enterprise environment required.
  • Experience with Exchange Online, unified communications, and collaboration platforms required.
  • Proficient with Excel, including basic reporting and data analysis required.
  • Experience with PowerBI and PowerBI dashboarding preferred.
  • Familiarity with RemedyForce or other incident management tools preferred.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell command-line operations; scripting experience preferred.
  • Experience working with telecom systems and vendors preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear technical documentation.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvements.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
