| ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Project Superintendent to join our Public Sector Southwest team. This position will be virtual, but the candidate should reside in Colorado or Texas. This position requires approximately 50% to 75% travel, including overnight stays, based on job site location. The ideal candidate for this position must have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. This individual must thrive in an innovative, dedicated, and collaborative company culture. This individual is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. They will provide onsite management of facility improvement construction projects. This will include overseeing the projects organization, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, client communication, and implementation. They will be responsible for the completion of each project in a timely and profitable manner.  The essential functions of the position include: 
  
 Study job drawings and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and schedulesWork with client onsite to schedule work effectivelyReview weekly productivity reports and manage to budgetsManage General Condition costs efficientlySchedule work with client and sub-contractors, including the delivery of materialProvide two-week look-ahead to customer and construction teamHold weekly or bi-weekly update meetings with the construction teamManage material, labor, subcontractor, and project budget throughout project lifetimeReview contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractorsConfer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problemsCoordinate project work with Construction Manager: documentation, scheduling, changes, subcontractors, etcWork with subcontractors and manage workflow to meet schedulesManage the project to maximize Energy EfficiencyPlan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and maximize productivityEvaluate proposals from subcontractors and vendors, confirm scope of work matches contractInvestigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followedWork with Project Manager to compile progress billings for the project and assist with payment, as neededDevelop construction schedulesAttend site meetings and work with the Owner/Customer to clearly communicate expectationsReview subcontractor work and manage to quality control programsInspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes as well as environmental or other regulationsBe the on-site representative for Southwest Energy, working and communicating with the Customer and Subcontractors throughout project constructionPrepare daily logs for work to be completedManage the project to Southwest Energy's safety programManage activities during warranty timeframe
