| As part of the Project Management team, the Purchasing Project Manager is both the representative of the Purchasing Department within the project team and of the project team within the Purchasing Department. Mission: 
  
 Coordinate the Global/Regional Purchasing activity for the projects assignedGuarantee the adequacy / alignment between the project and the commodity teams on sourcing strategies for all parts, including carry over, also taking into account the supplier riskContribute to the development of economic targetsGuarantee the achievement of project targets through the selection of suppliersEnsure compliance with the conditions of execution of the supplier contract (in particular cost, time and production capacity, etc.) in the development, industrialization and / or mass production phaseMonitor the supplier's economic impacts for evolutions during developmentSupport to detect failing suppliers as early as possible and ensure the right level of reactivity and escalation to deal with these cases of failure

 Elaborate and obtain the validation of the Sourcing Plan in Sourcing Table and Contract Milestone, integrating the international dimension, if necessaryEnsure the respect of the RFQs and supplier selection schedulesFormalize the project assessment at the supplier's choiceMaintain the project Target in terms of DMC, CAPEX and R&D at the supplier's selection and during the development phaseEnsure the proper execution of the supplier contract during the industrializationGuarantee the achievement of 'Tool Kick off' with supplier in line with the planning and the capacity requirements of the projectValidate the transition to critical supplier monitoring escalationGuarantee the robustness of final price for Mass production
Basic Qualifications: 
  
 Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field from an AACSB accredited programMinimum 8 years of experience in purchasing or a related fieldProven ability to build and maintain strong regional and global relationshipsMust be well organized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict, and resourceful when managing complex assignmentsMust be comfortable and excel in a fast paced environmentResults oriented and ability to lead cross-functional and global teams in issue resolutionStrong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategicallyStrong communication skills required; must be comfortable interfacing with all levels of managementCustomer focus and Strong knowledge of business processes across group purchasingAbility to lead Program Buyers
