Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Manager to lead the creation, deployment, and implementation of our Enterprise Asset Management process. The Asset Manager will be responsible for maintaining the IAMS database, ensuring all hardware and software assets are accurately recorded and updated. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless asset management and reporting.

What You'll Experience:

  • Leading the continued maintenance and refinement of a robust Enterprise Asset Management process.
  • Collaborating closely with warehouse managers, purchasing agents, and installation teams to ensure accurate asset management and reporting.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive custom built asset management database (IAMS) with detailed records of all hardware and software assets.
  • Generating inventory reports and developing site installation folders and as-built diagrams.
  • Evaluating and recommending asset management tools to meet organizational requirements.

  • Proven experience in asset management.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures is a plus.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Ability to develop and implement the Enterprise Asset Management process effectively.
  • Expertise in maintaining detailed records of hardware relocations within secure facilities.
  • Skill in resolving issues in collaboration with warehouse managers and purchasing agents.
  • Competence in preparing and issuing purchase orders and complex agreements, and negotiating terms, conditions, prices, and delivery for procurements.
  • Proficiency in supporting proposal activities with innovative solutions and acting as a liaison between the Programs team, other functional areas, and suppliers.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the IAMS database, recording all hardware and software details, including type, location, status, barcodes, quantities, models, manufacturers, serial numbers, warranties, service contracts, licenses, firmware, software installations, and any other required information.
  • Keep records of hardware relocations within secure facilities.
  • Evaluate asset management tools and recommend the best options to meet requirements.
  • Update the IAMS database after inventory checks and report any misplaced, lost, or stolen equipment.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and complex agreements, ensuring all procurement actions are properly documented and approved.
  • Work with the buying agent to help negotiate terms, conditions, prices, delivery, quality, and performance requirements for moderate-to-high complexity procurements.
  • Process purchase requisitions, orders, revisions, and requests for quotes to suppliers.

Act as a liaison between the Programs team, other functional areas, and suppliers, building positive relationships.

Target salary range: USD $88,178.00/Yr. - USD $95,411.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
