Job Description

The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing production schedules, processing special punch data entry and integrating with inventory processes to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts on order releases action and exception messages from the company XDA system.
  • Programs and processes special punch releases and performs data entry as needed to update material production requirements into XDA/MES
  • Assist with the planning and management of production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity.
  • Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Interfaces with inventory control staff regarding schedules and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
  • Answer termination or cancellation requests from sales.
  • Orders floor stock with shelf-life material for production.
  • Assist with work in process review as necessary.
  • Receives and reviews sales orders against current requirements and works in process using the material requirement planning report.
  • Releases production orders for production material, floor stock items and all purchases to support the business unit.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Prior experience in production, manufacturing, inventory or logistics support is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The US hourly range for this full-time position is $24.00-26.00 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
