The University of Virginia Darden School of Business, one of the world's leading business schools, seeks a part-time Academic Operations Assistant to support senior academic leadership in our Rosslyn, VA location. This position primarily supports the Vice Dean and Senior Associate Dean for Professional Degree Programs, providing confidential administrative and operational support. The successful candidate will apply strong and proactive organization skills to oversee integrated calendar management, project management, executive communications, global and domestic travel, and procurement responsibilities. The ability to communicate and work using a variety of technologies with a staff that may not always be physically present is required. This position interacts with leaders and their administrative teams at Darden and the University of Virginia, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure the highest strategic impact calendars, daily schedule and engagements. In addition to supporting the Vice Dean, this role will also provide support to the Professional Degree Programs delivery and DC Initiatives teams, as needed. This is a part-time position (averaging 30 hours per week, not to exceed 1500 hours per year) and is not eligible for benefits. Specific duties and responsibilities:
