Title: Welder 4 Location with zip code: Savannah, GA, 31408 Pay Rate: $20/hr. to 25/hr. on W2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day Shift Hours: 6AM-2:30PM; Mon-Fri Duration: 3 + months Job Description: The team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder - the ideal candidate will have experience in welding techniques, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, and components to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Role & Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Set up components for welding according to specification. Operate welding equipment to fuse metals using the TIG welding process. Inspect welded surfaces to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Perform cutting, grinding, and shaping of metal components as needed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete project efficiently and on time. The job will consist of welding thing wall tubing from .062 to .016 wall thickness, on 2 inch through 1/4 inch O.D. material. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Welder or similar role. Proficiency in TIG welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and machinery. Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in welding.
