Project Delivery Manager

We are looking for a talented Project Delivery Manager to join our R&D Engineering Services (RDES) team and play a vital role in delivering engineering projects that enable breakthrough research and development in pharmaceuticals.

As a Project Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage a portfolio of engineering projects for GSK's Technical R&D sites. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and governance standards. Your expertise will help drive strategic business objectives, deliver measurable benefits, and ensure continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Project Delivery Manager, you will:

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to handover, ensuring alignment with GSK standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases, project scopes, budgets, and timelines that deliver agreed benefits to the business.
• Conduct assurance reviews and stage-gate assessments to ensure project compliance with governance standards.
• Lead risk management strategies, value engineering, and mitigation plans to minimize project risks.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring safe and compliant execution of all capital projects.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and sharing best practices across teams.
• Actively participate in site and regional governance meetings and operational forums.

About You:
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for project delivery excellence. You will need to be a highly organized problem solver with the ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Basic Qualification:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience managing complex engineering projects, in a highly regulated environment
• Experience analyzing budgets and cash flow forecasts.

Preferred Qualification:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• A Master's degree in (or equivalent) in Project Management, Engineering, or Business.
• Proven ability to deliver projects across the full lifecycle in a technically complex environment.
• Experience within pharmaceuticals industry.
• Strong understanding of statutory legislation and construction safety.
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
