Position Summary
We are seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner who combines strong tactical HR execution with emerging strategic business acumen. The ideal candidate brings at least eight years of hands on HR experience (employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, compliance) and is ready to collaborate with leaders to advance people strategy, workforce planning, and performance initiatives at the site level.

Essential Functions
* Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned business leaders, translating business priorities into people strategies and operational plans.
* Deliver day to day HR operations including employee relations case management, coaching managers, leave of absence administration, policy interpretation, and compliance.
* Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts for your area; partner with recruiting to reduce time to fill for critical roles.
* Drive performance management processes-coach managers on goal setting, performance conversations, corrective action, and succession planning.
* Contribute to workforce planning and basic people analytics; prepare and present HR metrics and insights to leadership to inform decision making.
* Participate in or lead entry level strategic projects (e.g., pilot retention programs, career pathing initiatives, site engagement action plans) and help operationalize rollouts.
* Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive our HPT Culture across the location.
* Partner with Division HR Manager on pay decisions, promotions, and internal mobility.
* Foster a winning culture by cultivating a positive work environment that embraces inclusion, promotes employee recognition, and strengthens engagement within the communities where we operate.
* Maintain accurate HRIS records and documentation; ensure confidentiality and adherence to company policies and employment laws.

Qualifications
* Bachelor degree (required) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* 8-10 years of progressive, tactical HR experience (HR generalist, employee relations, recruiting, or similar), with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Demonstrated entry level strategic exposure-participation in workforce planning, HR project work, or initiative design (e.g., piloting a retention program, contributing to a divisional people plan).
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to build credibility with managers and employees.
* Experience handling employee relations cases and applying employment law basics.
* Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel (reporting/analytics basics).
* Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and training skills.
* Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
* HR certification (PHR, SHRM CP) or progress toward advanced HR credentials.
* Hands on experience with people analytics or advanced reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
* Change management or leadership development experience.
