  • Performs periodic maintenance and calibration on complex electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Work from manufacturers' manuals, schematics, and engineering data to ensure equipment functions as designed
  • Troubleshoots CNC machine malfunctions to determine root cause.
  • Conducts electrical maintenance and basic mechanical repair of metal working machines closely following electrical code and blueprints.
  • Diagnoses and repairs miscellaneous electrical breakdowns and other malfunctions.
  • Use precision test and diagnostics equipment (ie. Mechanical gages, Electronics and Pneumatic diagnostic equipment, etc..)
  • Work on CNC machines, assembly lines including technologies with PLC's, robotics, and mechanical operations
  • Responds and resolves work order requests.
  • Handles building maintenance needs as required
  • Works as part of the Team to accomplish daily goals.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in work groups High Performance Teams for continuous improvement
  • Respond to safety concerns
  • Assist manufacturing engineering in support of process improvements and project development
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Work Conditions:

Production and machining environment; Work on facility and equipment; Climbing ladders, working in high area such as rafters or ceilings; Work outside the building as well as inside the building on facility improvements or installations; Work on high voltage; Work around oily conditions. The position requires frequent walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending and climbing for 8-10 hours per day; regular lifting up to 20 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge: Industrial maintenance technology certificate, AA degree or equivalent work experience; knowledge in PLC's, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and basic machining / welding techniques

Skills: Reads and understands schematic diagrams, technical and mechanical drawings; Trouble shoot root cause to component level: Utilize diagnostic equipment and gages to assist in trouble shooting or installing equipment. 3-5 years' experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a machining environment preferred. Electrician's license, electrical certificate or Assoc degree in Electrical Technology a plus.

Abilities: Able to effectively work on and manage multiple tasks without direct supervision: Ability to communicate effectively to maintenance team members and other departments servicing. Demonstrate ability to operate equipment safely: Set up and install new equipment. Able to prioritize workflow to support production schedules; Can perform essential job functions above
