 Surgical Technology Clinical Coordinator This position is full-time and onsite at our Aurora, CO campus. Requirements: Valid CST, Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology, 4+ years of clinical Surgical Tech experience (at least 2 of last 5 years in surgical scrub role) The Surgical Technology Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that students receive quality, compliant clinical experiences and that adequate clinical site placements are available. This includes coordinating clinical assignments, preparing students through lab and classroom instruction, and maintaining communication with clinical affiliates. The role also supports program compliance, accreditation standards, and student success from clinical preparation through completion.      Ensure departmental compliance with state Board of Nursing, organizational policies, and regulatory agency standardsSupport curriculum review, development, and revisionAssist faculty in preparing and maintaining syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and learning objectivesHelp establish departmental policies aligned with institutional and professional standardsAdvise students on academic progress, attendance, and professional conduct; assist graduates with licensure applicationsParticipate in student admissions, orientations, and departmental meetingsContribute to Advisory Committee planning and attend meetingsSupport the accreditation process and ensure ongoing program complianceCollaborate on student retention strategies and initiativesHelp plan and lead faculty meetings and departmental projectsEngage in systematic program evaluation and reportingSubstitute teach as neededCoordinate skills lab operations and clinical site development, supervision, and evaluationMaintain accurate student records in alignment with organizational policiesActively participate in campus and corporate events and initiativesServe on committees related to recruitment, admissions, retention, promotion, and graduationMaintain professional competence through continuing education, professional service, or industry involvementAssist in developing and implementing departmental and institutional policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications
 
 Licenses/Certifications 
     Unencumbered and active Surgical Technologist credential from an NCAA nationally accredited program (required) Education & Experience 
     Associate's degree in Surgical Technology and minimum of four (4) years clinical experience in surgical technology with at least three (3) years in the operating room scrub role within the last five (5) years (required) Skills

     Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.This position is designated as On Campus or On site; Work environments may include exposure to student learning environments with a variety of conditions. Employees must be able to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment. Employees must also be able to adhere to site-specific safety procedures. The compensation for this position is designated as $79,040 to $85,280 (per year) based on level of education, credentials, and experience. |
