Job Summary: Provides academic instruction and student academic support for the School of Health Sciences. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction including governance activities. Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Medical Assisting credential recognized by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT) taken after 11/30/2010, CCMA (NHA) taken after 12/30/2011
- OR -
- Clinical certification / licensure with minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in an ambulatory or hospital setting, to include but not limited to RN, CCRN, CRNP, CRNA, RRT, PA, MT, MLT, PBT, MD/DO
- 2 years expereince as a clinical provider
Licensing Requirements: Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws and Act 15 clearances Valid driver's license Hiring Range: N/A Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher
- Community College experience

- Provides academic support and advising to students including establishing and maintaining a schedule of office hours. - (Standard)
- Participates in college governance by serving on joint, ad hoc, faculty, campus, division and discipline committees. - (Standard)
- Participates in the recruitment and hiring of new faculty through participation on assigned search committees. - (Standard)
- Participates in college and community service activities. - (Standard)
- Participates in professional growth activities and maintains awareness of new trends and developments within areas of instructional responsibility. - (Standard)

- Coordinate, plan, organize, and instruct academic courses according to approved course syllabus. - (Essential)
