Location: Hybrid - Birmingham, Michigan

Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Program Duration: June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026

Summary

OneStream is seeking motivated candidates for its 2026 internship program. Interns will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with professionals, and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced environment. Our internship is intended for rising seniors and graduate students enrolled in a degree-seeking program, with graduation expected after the internship program concludes. This summer, the Financial Analyst intern will assist with monthly forecast cycles driving the usage of financial and operational KPIs through financial reporting, analysis, and business-driven insights. They will leverage tools such as OneStream as well as OS Office and collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce key metric reports and drive process improvements. Their contributions will deliver actionable insights that support the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist with monthly forecasting and reporting, and revenue and expense variance analysis.
  • Produce key metric reporting and monthly operations updates for business partners to inform smart and actionable financial decisions that have a positive ROI on the business.
  • Develop and build standardized methodology and reporting process to assess forecast accuracy by identifying key drivers/assumptions.
  • Drive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements and automated tasks across FP&A and broader Finance, in partnership with relevant cross-functional stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Partner with other supporting areas of the business (Accounting, HR, etc.) to assist business partners on ad hoc requests in a timely manner.


Required Education and Experience



  • In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree.


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Senior and graduate-level students preferred (graduating between December 2026 and May 2027).
  • Previous internship experience is nice to have but not necessarily required.

  • A "roll-up your sleeves" mindset; able to exercise independent judgment and problem solve.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • High level of personal accountability and ownership of results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in high stress situations.
