Job Title: Security Systems Installation Technician Overview: We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Installation & Integration Specialist to join our team. This role involves installing, configuring, supporting, monitoring, testing, optimizing, and troubleshooting security products and systems at client locations. You will play a key role in deploying, integrating, and implementing new equipment and software while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Experience in cabling and installation is required. Key Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and troubleshoot security systems and related software at client sites. * Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency. * Provide technical support and resolve issues promptly, escalating when necessary. * Assist in developing high-level assessments and proposals, including cost-benefit and risk analyses, to deliver comprehensive security solutions. * Manage projects and service calls, ensuring timely completion within budget. * Lead teams effectively by delegating tasks, providing feedback, and mentoring team members. * Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and professionalism. * Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to address client challenges. * Maintain a professional image and uphold company standards at all times. Location: Commercial client sites Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 7 am - 3:30pm Required Knowledge & Skills: * Broad-based technology understanding with competence in at least two security industry-related areas. * Solid project management and time management skills. * Ability to accommodate diverse personality types and make sound decisions under pressure. * Familiarity with the following systems is highly desirable: * S2 * Avigilon * Galaxy * Paxton * HID * Keri * Brivo Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum 3-5 years of installation and service experience in the security industry, including: * Video surveillance * Access control * Intrusion and fire alarms * Perimeter security and traffic control * Door hardware and locksmithing * Strong mechanical aptitude and low-voltage wiring experience; general contracting knowledge is a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Visio and/or CAD design experience preferred. * Excellent client interaction and communication skills. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience required. * Valid PA driver's license required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
