Technical Designer(s) (full-time, multiple openings) needed in Dallas, Texas to consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of structures, and plan layouts of architectural projects. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, and materials used. Perform predesign services, such as feasibility or environmental impact studies. Collaborate and communicate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, vendors and regulatory agencies to resolve complex technical and design issues to meet overall project objectives, and ensure builder compliance with design specifications, and advise on design corrections. Establish design standards, space planning, and programming based on clients' functional and spatial requirements while meeting conceptual design goals. Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design (graphic presentations, physical models, 2D/3D renderings), design development, construction documents and production for core and shell architecture projects. Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus two (2) years of design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) with all of the following: 1. Work experience including Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, parametric design software, 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, 3ds MAX, Bluebeam Revu, Rhino, V-Ray and Enscape; In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship). Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) must include experience with all of the following: 1. Work experience including Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, parametric design software, 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, 3ds MAX, Bluebeam Revu, Rhino, V-Ray and Enscape; All experience may be acquired concurrently. Incidental telecommuting may apply. Standard benefits will be offered, and employees will be eligible for bonuses. The base salary range is $88,109.00 to $95,000.00, commensurate with relevant experience. | |
