Your Role

As a Gensler Project Architect, it's your job to lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build.
You will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence in lab planning.

What You Will Do
  • Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.for laboratory facilities and other project types
  • Develop architectural drawings and specifications to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction
  • Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
  • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction

Your Qualifications

  • Accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 12+ years of experience in Architecture inclusive of 5+ years of experience focused on programming and planning of all phases of a variety of laboratory types
  • Licensed or registered architect
  • Experience working directly with senior management, scientists, laboratory managers and technicians, facilities and project managers, and other project stakeholders in determining and documenting programmatic requirements
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • LEED accreditation preferred; committed to the principles of sustainable design and resilient communities

**The base salary range will be estimated between $120,000 - $137,500 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
