IS Technical Specialist: III (Senior)

Genesis10 is seeking an Oracle Developer for a 3-month contract with the possibility to convert to a permanent position with a client located in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This role requires the candidate to be onsite for 4 days a week.

Summary:

Genesis10 is looking for an experienced Oracle Developer to provide technical and consultative support on complex technical matters. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based systems and applications, offering expertise across the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials environment and related technologies. This role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications and business requirements.
• Provide technical assistance and support for hardware and software-related issues.
• Utilize and maintain in-depth knowledge of the technical tools available for systems development and support.
• Stay current with technical industry trends and apply them to enhance system performance and capabilities.
• Identify training needs and assist with mentoring less experienced staff as needed.
• Lead specific projects and ensure successful delivery within scope and timelines.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, or an additional 4 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge and at least 3 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials applications and the Oracle technology stack.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Technical knowledge and experience with SQL Loader, Workflow, BI Publisher, XML, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical experience with OAF and JDeveloper.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, and event-driven development.
• Experience integrating Oracle EBS with SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce).
• Knowledge of Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork across IT, vendor, and business teams.
• Experience working in multi-platform environments.
• Ability to balance both development and support responsibilities.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects involving multiple business segments.
