The Position

The Material Handler's responsibilities include performing multiple warehouse functions in a regulated environment, such as operating powered industrial vehicles, operating automated equipment, shipping, receiving, packing, sorting, and conveying materials, parts, and supplies for manufacturing departments

The Opportunity

  • You will ensure accuracy and completeness of all procedures and instructions related to the proper receipt, quarantine, storage, and disbursement of materials as it relates to FDA, OSHA, FAA, QSR, ISO, Good
  • You will performs daily assigned standard work according to the department's governing processes (i.e., GSP's, OPs, QPs, or SOPs)

  • You are responsible for the operation of powered industrial vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.

  • You will ensures materials are distributed on time and accurately per the production schedule.

  • You will perform Inventory counting and adherence to inventory control processes. Required to handle or manage hazardous materials.

Who You Are

  • You hold a High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of relevant work experience (preferably in a GMP environment)

  • 1 year of experience operating power industrial vehicles

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement

  • Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, bend, and crouch for a combined 4 or more hours per day.

  • Required to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Repetitive, consistent movements of the wrists,hands, and fingers.

  • Required to have good near visual acuity to perform activities throughout the processes in the assigned area.

  • Must be able to work in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery; to work from lifts and ladders; to manipulate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies; to concurrently manipulate multiple controlsand machinery; and to wear and work in personnel protective equipment.

  • This is an essential position supporting the organizational goals requiring attendance on weekends, holidays,and during an emergency or exceptional conditions.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $37,200.00 - $69,200.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
