Position: Medicare Onboarding Liaison

Reporting to: Contract & Licensing Onboarding
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite
Overview:
Join Advisors Excel as a Medicare Onboarding Liaison in our Contract & Licensing team! You'll guide agents through the Medicare onboarding process, ensure compliance with licensing and contracting, and streamline processes to support seamless client experiences. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational skills and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
What you'll do:
- Review and process agent/marketing team requests for appointments and licensing, ensuring accuracy and complete forms.
- Forward completed contracts to carriers and follow up on pending appointments until successful.
- Create, maintain, and update agent records, including book-of-business changes.
- Own the merger/acquisition process, updating contracting and in-force business as needed.
- Build relationships with marketing teams, attend meetings, and act as a specialized onboarding consultant.
- Proactively schedule agent coaching calls for timely, accurate transitions to the organization.
- Provide training and coaching to advisors/staff on licensing, contracting best practices, rules, and regulations.
- Research agent issues, resolve problems, answer calls/emails promptly, support team members, and drive workflow/productivity improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience you'll bring:
- Previous experience and expertly manages all primary duties of a Contract and Licensing Consultant and Specialist roles
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member
- Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
- Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn specific administrative systems, rules, and regulations
- Ability to organize time and perform tasks with minimal direction. Must take ownership of assigned tasks and show initiative in identifying opportunities for positive change in the department.
