As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol automotive industry locations, supporting a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include managing access points, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and documenting all entries and exits as required by site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to support a positive environment at the location.
• Document all security-related activities and incidents in detailed reports for management and Allied Universal leadership review.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
