As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an educational setting. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols of the location, remaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Deliver customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or breaches of site protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist with maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Document and report security-related incidents and/or irregularities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a positive and secure atmosphere within the educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control systems and/or badge processes is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
