Security Officer - Transportation Access Driver

As a Security Officer - Transportation Access Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a transportation setting, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Monitor and control access to the transportation facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through access control measures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report on security-related matters.
• Report and document security-related incidents, irregularities, and any maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
