As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for everyone on site. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will foster positive interactions with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing any unusual situations during patrols.
• Monitor access points and observe entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed, including communication with site management and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain professional communication and interaction with employees, visitors, and contractors while on post.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
