 SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician will support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and professional manner. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  
 
   
  - Assist in plant and departmental attainment of safety, quality, productivity, and financial goals
 - Respond to all maintenance related requests with a prompt, professional, courteous, and willingness to help demeanor
 - Troubleshoot, repair, and PM plant production equipment, systems, and facilities following all regulation guidelines, maintenance best practices and lessons learned
 - Setup, installation, and commissioning of machinery to support inner plant moves and new launches
 - Use, maintain, and manage the Maintenance CMM system for work orders and PM's 
 - Support facilities maintenance and continuous improvement activities that may include fabrication, welding, lift truck use, and/or aerial lift use
 - Attend and complete all required training necessary to ensure skill level growth as well as current compliance requirements from MIOSHA, NEC, JIC, and DNR
 - Must perform job with acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks, and applicable work instructions
 - Ability to be flexible in working traditional and non-traditional work hours, as required
 - Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
 
   
  
 
 REQUIREMENTS  
 
   
  - Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing environment, Automotive experience preferred
 - Minimum of 3 years documented Industrial Maintenance Department experience
 - Journeyman certification preferred but not required
 - Ability to demonstrate an understanding of how job performance affects product quality
 - Ability to work well with others and establish and maintain positive working relationships
 - Ability to read, interpret, and prepare written reports, instructions, and procedures
 - Ability to use computers for email and related Maintenance productivity software
 - Ability to read and comprehend electrical prints, hydraulic schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams
 - Ability to maneuver and adjust robot programming on primarily Fanuc, KUKA, and Panasonic robots in a robot welding and material handling setting
 - Demonstrated understanding of machine electrical systems and basic troubleshooting procedures
 - Experience in the use of fork trucks and aerial lift devices required
