The Department of Medicine at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty and Hospital Epidemiology position (Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor) for our Duarte, California Campus. This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 450+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in Southern California. • The majority of your time will be dedicated to Hospital Epidemiology, as the lead Hospital Medical Epidemiologist with your remaining time divided between inpatient and outpatient clinical service

• Clinical time is divided between inpatient and outpatient services

• Contributions to Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Control efforts at Duarte

PAY & BENEFITS

• Base salary range: $210k - $256k *The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

• Active or eligible for California medical license

• ABIM board certification in Infectious Disease

• Strong communication skills

• Experienced in leading policy and protocol development and implementation for hospital epidemiology and infection prevention and control with a special focus on cancer patients

• Experience in transplant infectious disease - program that is heavily focused toward immunocompromised host infections (hematologic malignancy/ HCT)

• 1-2 years working within hematologic malignancies *preferred but not required
