We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Underwriter to join our non-Warranty Specialty Lines underwriting team and drive profitable growth. Job Summary The Senior Underwriter - Specialty Lines will be responsible for the evaluation, analysis, pricing and servicing of various specialty offerings using accepted Company procedures, standards and guidelines that have been established for various industries and product categories. This role will have a strong focus on property and renters insurance offerings including Tenant Legal Liability (TLL) and H04 products. The Senior Underwriter will collaborate with actuarial, claims, sales, compliance and product development teams to deliver profitable and competitive insurance solutions while maintaining the highest standards of technical expertise and market responsiveness Those within a 50-mile radius of an AmTrust office will be expected to abide by a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities Risk Assessment & Underwriting Decisions Portfolio Management: - Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability and mitigate loss exposure. Market & Relationship Management: Product Development & Innovation: Compliance & Risk Management: Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Actuarial, Mathematics, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. The expected salary range for this role is $87,600-$120,000 annually Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
