The purpose of Campus Health (CH) is to provide appropriate, affordable, accessible and high quality primary health care to eligible students, and provide a comprehensive disease-prevention and health promotion program in the NC State University community The major function of the CH is that of providing outpatient care to the 34,000+ NC State students. Some level of medical care or advice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the academic year beginning in August and ending in May. Hours of service vary during the summer and during holidays and student breaks. |

| Essential Job Duties |
The Appointments Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support for the various Campus Health clinics. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient clinic operations by managing front-office tasks, assisting with scheduling, maintaining records, coordinating communications, and supporting staff and patients with administrative needs.
- Duties include processing and scheduling patients in a prompt, professional manner via phone and in person requests for appointments.
- Maximize appointment availability through use of effective scheduling methods. Revise provider schedules as needed to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Provides general administrative support and, as assigned, assists at Gynecology Services, Physical Therapy and Centennial Reception.
- Fields telephone calls and conducts chart and health form searches.
- Assists with appointment preparation, scanning, filing, release of information, and other medical record-related duties. Supports immunization coordinator functions, including maintaining accurate records and assisting with compliance requirements.
- Assists with special projects and other duties as needed to support Campus Health operations.

Qualifications
| Minimum Experience/Education |
High School Diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
| Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred experience in medical office, student health office, or ambulatory care center.
Professional experience in a college/university setting. |
