Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary
The Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate field inventory balances, supporting the parts requirements of Field Service Representatives, and monitoring supplier performance. This role will work closely with Field Sales and Service Representatives, the Service Support Organization, METTLER TOLEDO North America shipping hub (AM-HUB), and our Masstron facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Complete part ordering through SAP
* Monitor existing parts orders and backlog, identify alternative solutions to satisfy service requirements
* Expeditiously respond to technician inquiries regarding part pricing, part availability and deliveries
* Actively manage technician inventory by determining appropriate safety stock for optimized field inventory levels
* Create, monitor and report on Field Service technician part returns
* Complete credit/rebill activities as required
* Coordinate and process physicals for MT-NA inventory
* Work with 3rd party vendor to align physical inventory schedules
* Evaluate and execute inventory adjustment requests
* Complete warehouse maintenance requests
* Create and maintain monthly KPI reporting
* Other duties as assigned What You Need to Succeed
Education, Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years experience with SAP, inventory or supply chain management, or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
* Experience in inventory management, field service support, or customer service preferred.
* Ability to process work with a high degree of accuracy.
* Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple assignments.
* Ability to make independent, reasoned decisions. Decision making authority includes (but is not restricted to) when to
involve field personnel or other managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
* Must be a self-starter able to work without the need of close or direct supervision.
* Strong ability to interface with other departments and teams in a professional and cooperative manner.
* Must be computer literate and be proficient with M/S Office with intermediate Excel skills. Our Offer to You
