City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Provider Specialty Sleep Medicine Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physicianto join our well-established Outpatient Sleep Clinicin Hampton, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role as Medical Director of our Sleep Lab, while delivering expert care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Position Highlights Outpatient-only practice with a flexible hybrid schedule(5-day workweek) High patient demand- currently booking 8 months out Average 16-20 patients per day Medical Directoropportunity for Sleep Lab leadership Work alongside a multidisciplinary team: primary care, pulmonology, neurology, and psychiatry Ideal Candidate We are looking for a physician with extensive experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a broad spectrum of adult sleep disorders, including: Sleep apnea Insomnia Narcolepsy Parasomnias Restless leg syndrome Proficiency in: Interpreting overnight polysomnography, MSLT, and HSAT Developing individualized treatment plans using CPAP/BiPAP therapy, behavioral interventions, and pharmacologic strategies Core Competencies Sleep Disorder Diagnosis & Management Polysomnography & HSAT Interpretation CPAP/BiPAP Therapy Initiation & Monitoring Multidisciplinary Collaboration Patient & Family Education Sleep Hygiene Counseling Clinical Documentation (EHR) Quality Improvement Initiatives Continuing Medical Education Qualifications Active and unrestricted Virginia and North Carolina medical license Board Certificationin Sleep Medicine (ABIM) Fellowship trainingin Sleep Medicine (preferred) Why Hampton, VA?
