Psych Tech 492

We are seeking a compassionate team player to provide direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients. This role involves working on an individual basis, including activities such as daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN. The successful candidate will effectively communicate with patients to ensure they have access to required services and inform the RN of any patient changes. Participation in rounds and group therapy is also required.

This position requires a D/E/N rotating shift schedule, including holidays, weekends, and on-call duties, with callbacks as per unit needs. The standard working hours are 36 hours per week, with the possibility of extending to 48 hours.

• 2 years of recent experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology.
