We're seeking a passionate and strategic Business and Partner Developer to expand our network of employers, collaborators, and community allies. If you have a background in sales, business development, or career coaching-and a heart for empowering individuals with disabilities-you'll thrive in this role. What You'll Do as a Business & Partner Developer:
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with local businesses, employers, and community organizations to create employment, volunteer, and career exploration opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for job placements and workforce collaboration by staying informed on local business trends and community needs.
- Advocate for the talents and contributions of individuals with disabilities, helping employers recognize their value and potential in the workplace.
- Represent CW Resources at job fairs, community events, and forums to build relationships and promote welcoming workforce initiatives.
- Engage employers directly through activities like mock interviews, job shadowing, company tours, and volunteer programs that highlight candidate strengths.
- Maintain and grow existing partnerships by ensuring ongoing communication, satisfaction, and mutual success.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment with external partners.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on outreach efforts, partnership development, and progress toward goals.
- Keep accurate records of outreach activities, partner engagement, and follow-up actions to track impact and outcomes.
- Invest in your professional growth through ongoing training in business development and disability employment strategies.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Experience in human services, employment support, business development, career navigation, or vocational rehabilitation-preferably within the nonprofit sector and focused on supporting adults with disabilities.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with employers, community partners, and service agencies, with a track record of successful business partnerships.
- Solid understanding of workforce development strategies, employment services, and community engagement practices that support individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with service coordination through agencies such as DORS, the Department on Aging, and the Department of Developmental Services.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally to meet with partners, visit sites, and attend events.
- Valid driver's license required for community-based outreach and engagement.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient knowledge of employment laws, ADA regulations, and workplace accommodations.
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion in managing sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- First Aid certification, CPR training, and Physical & Psychological Management Training or equivalent.
