As a Security Professional - Media Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol (Unarmed) Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your visible presence and proactive engagement will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. In this dynamic setting, you will utilize your communication skills and attention to detail while supporting a collaborative team. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Training : Must complete three weeks of consecutive dayshift training

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site contacts regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Document all incidents and observations in detailed security-related reports as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities and support evacuation procedures if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
