As a Security Guard - Retail Site Patrol Driver in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail locations. Your visible presence will support a welcoming environment for guests and staff, while your strong communication and customer service skills will help resolve issues as they arise. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas in a vehicle. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and along the perimeter to help to deter potential issues and to support a secure atmosphere for employees and customers.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Collaborate with management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
