Summary: We're looking for a Lead Technical Writer who thrives at the intersection of technology and strategy. This is not a "just write manuals" role-this is about owning the documentation program end-to-end for complex, enterprise-grade solutions in Networking, Data Center Operations, and Digital Workplace technologies (Collaboration, AV, Contact Center). Candidates must be local to Los Angeles, CA. What you'll do: Own the Documentation Program: Plan, draft, and refine HLD/LLD narratives, SOPs/runbooks, operational guides, and client-facing deliverables. Architect Clarity: Create diagrams and visual workflows (Visio or similar) that simplify complex network and data center architectures. Shape Strategic Content: Develop persuasive RFP responses, white papers, and technical marketing assets that position solutions competitively. Govern Quality: Lead editorial and compliance gates-style, tone, accessibility, legal/security-and enforce brand standards. Enable Knowledge Management: Manage templates, version control, and publication in SharePoint/Confluence; track usage and quality KPIs. Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure technical accuracy and business alignment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
