Construction Manager - Underground OSP Inspection Oversight (Western Columbus, OH) Type: Contract-to-Hire \| Field-Based \| Company Vehicle Provided We're looking for a Construction Manager to lead underground OSP inspection crews for active fiber optic deployments in Western Columbus and surrounding areas. This is a 100% field-based role-perfect for someone who thrives outdoors and knows how to keep inspection teams aligned and productive. What You'll Do * Lead and coordinate underground OSP inspection crews across multiple fiber deployment projects. * Ensure crews follow construction standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. * Perform site walks, verify work quality, and escalate issues when necessary. * Communicate daily progress and updates to project leadership. What We're Looking For * 3+ years of experience in OSP construction or fiber optic deployments. * Proven ability to manage and lead field inspection teams. * Strong understanding of underground OSP construction methods and safety standards. * Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision. * Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
