Overview

Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.

What you will need:

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace and handle multiple parts, fast pace is physically demanding
• Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

* Read tickets and/or labels to properly pull the required components necessary for building door(s) correctly

* Pulling materials to run through machines

* Machining and applying weather strip

* Activate machine cycle to machine the jamb

* Remove the jamb from the machine and start the weather- stripping process

* Stocking finished product

* Maintain a safe and clean work environment

* Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Use tape measure, saw operation, operate hinge machine, strike router, DTI hinge applicator.

* Ability to lift to 50+ lbs frequently

* Maintain a well-organized work area

* Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service

* Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written
