Overview: Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team in our Plainville, CT office. This position will support the HR team with daily operations and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of HR services across the company. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will assist with onboarding logistics, maintain employee documentation, and provide administrative and clerical support to a variety of HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (e.g., new hires, status changes, terminations).
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including scheduling sessions and preparing materials.
  • Track completion of required training and employee documentation.
  • Assist with posting job openings and coordinating candidate interviews.
  • Respond to general employee inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Support HR projects, programs, and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A clear and professional communicator—both written and verbal.

What You Bring



  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of HR or administrative experience (internships count!).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
