Salary Range:$77,600 - $110,000

3+ years of experience: $77,600 - $103,400

5+ years of experience: $87,700 - $115,000

These ranges reflect what BNSF Railway reasonably expects to pay for this position, based on the role's level, scope, and responsibilities. Final compensation and position level will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Travel is less than 10%.

Key responsibilities may include:

Company-wide owner for administration ofPerformance Management Process (mid-year and year-end performance reviews, development planning, and performance improvement plans) for all exempt employees. Includes all aspects of process, communication, metrics and reporting, partnership with HRBPs; includes ownership of our SuccessFactors module.

Designs new performance processes and programs- including design and implementation. Regularly researches best practices, tools, technologies and vendors. Gains stakeholder alignment, benchmarking, system design and implementation.

Program owner for company mentoring programs; oversees annual processes for selection and matching; serves as an advisor/consultant to mentors and mentees; conducts program events and evaluation.

System owner for Supervisor Academy (skills assessment) in SuccessFactors - ensuring processes are executed seamlessly for users. Partners with Technical Training Center, HR Matrix and other stakeholders on process design and delivery.

Designs and delivers system-wide internal communications, presentations and training programs for a wide variety of internal stakeholders and audiences.

Coordinates executive and professional development programs (e.g., Executive MBA and executive development programs).

Leads HRM Development for the Human Resources Medical organization;lead team in determining needs and implementing solutions.

Leads the design and execution of tools and frameworks that support onboarding and leadership transitions; facilitate New Leader Integration sessions to accelerate team alignment and performance.

Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work now and in the future without BNSF's assistance (whether monetary, through sponsorship, or otherwise) in obtaining, maintaining, or extending employment authorization (including H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN nonimmigrant status)
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Advanced project management experience
  • Advanced reporting/analytics skills
  • Experience using Success Factors' performance and/or talent suite
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
