Associate Product Manager Overview:

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for partnering with the eCommerce team to enhance the traveler experience at key points in their journey. They will assist Product Managers in key roadmap initiatives and work closely with the User Experience and Commercial Development teams to deliver new experiences for our travelers.

The Associate Product Manager will also monitor product delivery timelines and make recommendations for the prioritization of the product backlog. This includes understanding calendar timing, objectives, and strategies to ensure a clear direction on priorities. In addition, they will participate in larger company projects as needed and own a small portion of the digital experience under Product Management guidance.

The Associate Product Manager will immediately contribute and add value to the Digital Experience and eCommerce team.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Convey Product Vision created by Product Managers to the Agile Development team and serve as a coordinator to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers to define product requirements and design.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including flows, requirements, and business rules.
  • Assist with and manage the product backlog.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timeline and expectations are communicated appropriately.
  • Understand the "why" behind each feature and work with Product Managers to understand the roadmap and supporting KPIs.
  • Collaborate and communicate daily with product and development teams including participation in agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor platforms and report out on program performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure alignment with product development, business objectives, and delivery timelines.
  • Analyze customer needs, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, and provide direction on best practices and emerging trends in relation to e-commerce capabilities.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of product, project, or program management experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time, manage time well and balance short- and long-term goals and objectives
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident and comfortable presenting to senior leadership and large groups
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to also think outside of the box
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to think and act fast, deal with ambiguity and be able to develop ideas into scalable products


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products
  • Ability to prioritize product enhancements based on competitive analysis, benefit to the customer, and company vision
  • Possesses a natural curiosity; is a critical thinker and problem solver
  • Strong systems skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Python or R
  • Experience working in an agile work environment
  • Travel or aviation related experience


Compensation:

Range $65,000 to $90,000

Full-Time, Exempt
