The Senior Vice President of Information Technology will oversee the use of Information Technology within Crescent Hotels and Resorts. This position will devise the company's IT strategy and ensure all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. In addition to their education, the candidate must have a strong strategic and business acumen. The candidate must have a solid background and consistently keep up-to-date with advancements of the field. The goal of this position is to ensure that the information technology department of Crescent Hotels and Resorts creates change, efficiencies, opportunities for our team and adds the maximum value to our company, so as to facilitate the success of our business.

Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate the current platforms utilized by Crescent Hotels and Resorts to determine where change is needed and efficiencies my be found.
  • Setting objectives and strategies for the IT department.
  • Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within Crescent Hotels and Resorts.
  • Procure technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure, (networks and computer systems) of Crescent Hotels and Resorts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Direct and organize IT related projects for corporate and property related.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.
  • Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
  • Oversight of the entire IT team to include Business Intelligence, IT Transitions, IT Project Management and Hotel System upgrades.
  • Ensure all systems Cyber security.
  • Ensure compliance with a IT system regulations and security.
  • Manage the relationship with Crescent's preferred MSP company.
  • Promote expectations and requirements to hotel technology users on effective technology usage based on published standards.
  • Evaluates information technology requirements for hotels and resorts and recommends essential programs.
  • Support the implementation of property-based technology and assist with the introduction of new technologies.
  • Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures to help ensure compliance.
  • Maintain and cultivate third party vendor relationships.



Requirements:



  • A minimum of five years' experience as SVP of Information Technology or similar leadership is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technology related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A strong strategic and business mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A solid understanding of the hospitality business and the application of Information Technology to that business.
  • Proven project management and budgeting skills.



The compensation offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
