Shift ALL Security ClearanceNo Clearance ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE (Job Description) The Work Integration Manager - Surface Ships is the primary interface between the Projects, Production, Testing team, Scheduling and Quality Assurance. This position provides scheduling integration during advance planning and execution. This position provides guidance to Schedulers, communicates any scheduling problem areas to the project team, and provide options for problem resolution. Within defined objectives, but with considerable latitude, the Work Integration Manager performs in a professional position requiring an in-depth knowledge; is capable of independent, complex analysis, concept formulation, and new method identification and serves as a prime point of contact for customers. Inaccurate decisions or errors in work and information may put the fiscal position of the organization at risk and damage the Company's reputation. POSITION DEMANDS (Education/Training) Typically has an MA/MS in a related field plus two (2) years directly related experience, or BA/BS in a related field of study plus two (2) years directly related experience, or AA/AS plus four (4) years directly related experience, or eight (8) years' directly related experience. ACCOUNTABILITY Accountable to the Ship Manager for schedule integration during advance planning and execution., providing guidance to Schedulers, communicating scheduling problem areas to the project team, and providing options for problem resolution. UNIQUE/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Regular, reliable attendance on-site is an essential function of the job. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation. Must be a U.S. citizen and qualify for a Common Access Card (CAC) and a security clearance. Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required. Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects or controls, and to talk and hear. Must have good eye/hand coordination. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels and the drydock, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment. These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy. Pay Range: $73,600- $96,600 The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. At NASSCO Bremerton we anticipate making salary offers between the minimum and midpoint of salary range. Offers will be based on experience, abilities, and knowledge similar to the NASSCO Job being applied for NASSCO employees performing similar work.
