Job Title: Instrument Packaging Operator

Location: Irving, TX

Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr (Based on experience)

Company Overview:

We are supporting a global leader in medical device and diagnostics manufacturing. This position is within the ACP Packaging Department, responsible for preparing small blood analyzers and related instruments for final shipment.

Position Summary:

The Instrument Packaging Operator is responsible for safely and accurately packaging medical diagnostic instruments once assembly and testing are complete. This role involves following detailed work instructions to wrap, secure, label, and prepare products for shipment. This is not a warehouse shipping/receiving role - it is hands-on production line packaging within a clean manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Prepare completed medical analyzers and instruments for shipment according to standard operating procedures



  • Wrap, cushion, secure, and palletize products to prevent damage in transit



  • Apply tags, labels, documentation, and protective packaging materials



  • Use zip ties and fasteners to secure internal wiring where required



  • Follow step-by-step packaging processes with high attention to detail



  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations



  • Communicate and work with the Packaging Team Lead / Manager (ACP Pack Department)




Requirements:




  • Previous experience in packaging medical devices, electronics, or precision instruments strongly preferred



  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately



  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity



  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to ~35 lbs throughout the shift



  • Reliable attendance and professionalism are required




Preferred Experience:




  • Packaging or assembly in manufacturing



  • Working in a regulated / cleanroom environment



  • Experience securing equipment to pallets or crates
