Position Overview

The Senior Principal Brand Marketing Director will lead the strategic development and execution of brand marketing and media strategy. Acting as the connective force across brand, media, and cross-functional teams, this individual will own the integrated marketing strategy, campaign calendar, and go-to-market planning - ensuring all efforts ladder up to a cohesive, impactful brand presence.

This role builds and advances the optimal promotional strategy and tactical mix to increase product awareness and adoption among potential and returning patients. This role is responsible for identifying consumer insights, developing strategy, and building and championing brand foundations that deliver on the annual brand plan objectives. This role is part of a team focused on executing direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns that drive patient acquisition while supporting complementary direct-to-patient programs and communications that drive adherence.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and lead the integrated marketing strategy across consumer and professional audiences, aligning brand storytelling, media, and content.
  • Own the annual marketing plan and campaign calendar, coordinating timing, priorities, and cross-functional input.
  • Create and manage holistic campaign briefs - driving clarity across creative, media, and stakeholder teams.
  • Partner with the brand, creative, and media teams to ensure consistent, effective messaging across paid, earned, owned, and field channels.
  • Oversee agency partnerships for creative development, media planning, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, CX, Communications, and Field Marketing to ensure unified, compliant storytelling.
  • Serve as the marketing lead and point of integration for all initiatives - ensuring strategic alignment across functions and agencies.
  • Spearheads the development and oversees the execution of the comprehensive brand plan across all channels, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving adoption through innovative TV, digital, and CRM marketing strategies.
  • Serves as the strategic lead in developing and integrating new and proven promotional strategies across multiple channels, optimizing media spend through data-driven decision-making and managing a multi-million dollar budget to maximize ROI.
  • Utilizes advanced market research and analytics to generate actionable insights that inform strategic direction and solution development, supporting both short-term objectives and long-term brand evolution.
  • Leads multi-disciplinary marketing agencies and manage external partnerships to execute targeted programs, providing strategic guidance and ensuring all initiatives align with the overarching brand goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to harmonize brand messaging and optimize programs that drive patient adherence and enhance customer engagement.
  • Oversees the measurement of promotional effectiveness, collaborating with analytics teams to interpret findings, identify key performance indicators, and implement continuous improvements to maximize brand impact and efficiency.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to essential duties; or associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience
  • 15+ years of brand marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in field related to essential duties.
  • Advanced proficiency utilizing business software; including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Advanced proficiency utilizing social media platforms; including but not limited to YouTube, Meta, TikTok and X.
  • Experience with CRM and DSP platform technologies.
  • Experience with a Digital Experience or Marketing Automation Platform.
  • Diagnostic/device/pharmaceutical marketing, sales, and/or healthcare marketing experience.

Salary Range:

$167,000.00 - $284,000.00

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
